The USMEPCOM Internal Review and Audit Compliance (IRAC) office serves as the Commander’s principal advisor for internal audits. IRAC is an independent and objective review and analysis activity within the command designed to add value and improve command or supported activity operations. IRAC helps the Commander accomplish mission objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and command oversight. IRAC engagements are based on statutory, regulatory, and command requirements; valid requests for services; and needs developed from risk assessments. The IRAC office provides the following services:
