Objectives:
- Consolidate USMEPCOM acquisitions and contract management functions into a single office to gain synergies, leverage expertise, and improve overall accountability and effectiveness
- Improve USMEPCOM contract administration by clearly defining oversight and management responsibilities, and ensuring responsible personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform these duties
- Apply tailored acquisitions planning and approval processes to improve requirements generation and maintain alignment with strategic planning and budgeting
- Establish formal tracking and reporting processes to regularly assess costs, schedules, and performance off USMEPCOM contracts
- Exploit opportunities to streamline the USMEPCOM acquisitions environment
