The Jacksonville MEPS, originally called the Jacksonville Armed Forces Examining and Entrance Station opened in 1966, at the U.S. Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. In January 1972, the station moved to Art Museum Drive and remained there until August 1984. At which time the station was relocated to 4615 Philips Highway. In July 1997, the MEPS moved to 4051 Philips Highway, Ste 15 where it remained for approximately 13 years. In December 2010, the MEPS moved to its present location at 7178 Baymeadows Way. The Jacksonville MEPS has enlisted well over 109,898 men and women from within the area since it opened.


 

Military Entrance Testing Site (METS) Instructions

When you go to the MET site for testing, do not forget to bring your Request For Examination (USMEPCOM Form 680-3A-E) signed by your recruiter along with a photo ID. You will need to arrive at the testing site at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time.
