Information Technology Specialist

Job Overview

As an information technology specialist, or ITS, you will provide critical information technology support to various MEPS staff. You will be responsible for the setup, function and availability of all MEPS IT assets and telecommunication equipment, ensuring MPS staff and service liaisons have the technology to support the processing of applicants for military service. 

In this role, you support the All-Volunteer Force by supporting the smooth processing of applicants by making sure IT equipment is working properly. 

Pay grade starting at:

GS-09 or GS-11

Other requirements unique to this position, if applicable:

Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:

1) Troubleshooting information technology issues to resolve customer technology complications;

2) Training users in information technology procedures;

3) Installing upgrades and modifications to ensure system effectiveness.
