Job Overview

As an intermittent testing administrator, or ITA, you will enjoy maximum flexibility to choose work opportunities that fit your schedule. ITAs work remotely from the MEPS as they travel to various high schools and MET sites to coordinate, conduct, and score the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).  

This role is essential as it is one of the first impressions young men and women have of the MEPS and the military process. This position is intermittent, meaning there is no guarantee of hours. You will be able to accept work opportunities as they are available. It’s a perfect fit for retirees or others who want to make an impact while maintaining flexibility.

GS-04 (intermittent)

Other requirements unique to this position, if applicable:

General Experience: This position administers written or computer based Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Test sessions at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) or other remote testing sites to determine individual qualifications for military service enlistment. Administers written or computer based Student Test Sessions at high schools and other educational institutions and occasionally conducts related special tests.
