Information for Inbound Personnel:

Military personnel considering or pending assignment to the New York City MEPS can find a variety of local information at the following websites listed. Interservice support agreements exist with the following installations to provide New York City MEPS military members with administrative and quality of life services. USMEPCOM does not exercise any control on the content or operation of the sites listed below. (Note: Links will open a new browser window.):

• Fort Hamilton — The New York MEPS located at Fort Hamilton. There are numerous services provided to all military personnel. The only service not offered to MEPS personnel by Fort Hamilton is personnel and financial support. For additional information on Fort Hamilton, see http://www.hamilton.army.mil.
• Fort Dix — (approx. 66 miles from MEPS) Army personnel assigned to the NY MEPS coordinate with the MEPS personnel sergeant to receive personnel support from the Personnel Service Center. Financial support is provided by Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) through the MEPS personnel sergeant. For additional information on Fort Dix, see http://www.dix.army.mil.
• Floyd Bennet Field — (approx. 5 miles from MEPS) USMC personnel assigned to the NY MEPS coordinate with the MEPS USMC liaison to receive personnel and financial support from the consolidated admin or S1.
• Navy Weapons Station Earle — (approx. 50 miles from MEPS) Navy personnel assigned to the NY MEPS coordinate with the MEPS Navy liaison to receive personnel and financial support from the Personnel Service Division.
• McGuire Air Force Base — (approx. 70 miles from MEPS) Air Force personnel assigned to the NY MEPS receive personnel and financial support from McGuire AFB Human Resource Center. For additional information on McGuire Air Force Base, see http://www.mcguire.af.mil.
• Fort Wadsworth — (approx. 4 miles from MEPS) Coast Guard personnel assigned to the NY MEPS can elect to reside on either Fort Wadsworth or Fort Hamilton. Both installations offer similar support, except Coast Guard personnel are also able to receive personnel and financial support at Fort Wadsworth.
