Information for Inbound Personnel:

Military personnel considering or pending assignment to the Fort Dix MEPS can find a variety of local information at the following websites. Interservice support agreements exist with the following installations to provide Fort Dix MEPS military members with administrative and quality of life services. USMEPCOM does not exercise any control on the content or operation of the sites listed below. (Note: Links will open a new browser window.):

• Fort Dix — (MEPS located at installation) n Fort Dix is co-located with McGuire AFB. They provide a joint commissary, post exchange, medical and dental clinics, schools as well as other facilities normally available on large installations. Additionally, there are shopping centers, restaurants, recreational facilities and all levels of sporting events available in the surrounding areas. However, there are no emergency services available at the clinic on-post, personnel must use civilian hospitals for emergency services. This joint community has personnel and financial agencies to meet the needs of all service members located at Fort Dix, McGuire AFB, and Philadelphia, PA.
  
• McGuire Air Force Base — (approx. 3 miles from MEPS)  *See Ft. Dix Listing
  
• Fort Monmouth — (approx. 50 miles from MEPS) Provides an array of support services to Army personnel including a large commissary and post exchange.
  
• TRICARE — All military members assigned to the Fort Dix MEPS are required to enroll in TRICARE Prime. Military health care facilities are located on Fort Dix and McGuire AFB.
