Information for Inbound Personnel:

Military personnel considering or pending assignment to the Anchorage MEPS can find a variety of local information at the following websites. Interservice support agreements exist with these installations to provide Anchorage MEPS military members with administrative and quality of life services. USMEPCOM does not exercise any control on the content or operation of the sites listed below.

• Elmendorf Air Force Base — (approx. 6 miles from MEPS) The Servicing Personnel Office for Air Force and Marines is on Elmendorf Air Force Base. This is also the main Housing and Lodging base for Air Force and Marine personnel assigned to Anchorage MEPS; all other base services are available to all authorized ID cardholders.
• Fort Richardson — (approx. 8 miles from MEPS) The Servicing Personnel Office for Army personnel is on Fort Richardson. This installation also provides Housing and Lodging to Army and Navy personnel assigned to Anchorage MEPS; all other post services are available to all authorized ID cardholders.
• Alaska.com — Web site for visitors and citizens of the Last Frontier.
• Plan My Move — Plan My Move provides you with access to information about your entitlements and benefits, to points of contact, checklists, planning tools, and information on education and employment. Plan My Move will put you and your family in charge of a smooth relocation to your new duty assignment.
